Nipponanthemum nipponicum

image to come

Resembling a Shasta Daisy reincarnated as a shrub, this partially woody perennial has shiny, dark green foliage and is one of the last plants to bloom in our gardens. Even one plant makes quite a statement! Loves seaside areas, thus its common name, Montauk Daisy. White flowers with yellow centers appear between September and November.
