NEW ENGLAND WOODLANDER-This New England Woodlander is native to moist alpine meadows and deciduous forests. The leaves grow on curious zigzag stems and bell-shaped flowers hang along the stems opposite the leaves. The red berries are lovely but will cause diarrhea if consumed in quantity, hence one of the common names, scootberry. Zones:2-7.
