Most thymes take lots of foot traffic and are the plant of choice for walkway crevices, rocky areas, and are even used as a lawn substitute. All need good drainage.
'Pseudolanuginosus' forms mats of 'wooly' silver-gray foliage. Good for hot, sunny sites.
